Summary

• Your tool input never reaches us. Every tool runs 100% in your browser — the JSON, XML, YAML, secrets and API keys you paste are processed on your device and never transmitted to our servers.

Information collected

Tool input: none. There is no server-side processing for tool inputs and no endpoint that receives what you type or paste. There are no accounts, no sign-up and no user profiles.

Advertising data: see below. Our ad partner receives the ordinary information any website delivers to an ad network — connection metadata and page context — which is separate from anything you put into a tool.

Advertising

This site displays advertising supplied by Google AdSense. To fund the free tools, our page loads Google's ad script, which lets Google and its advertising partners use cookies and device identifiers to serve and measure ads. This includes the possibility of personalised advertising based on your prior browsing across this and other websites.

What an advertising partner can see: your IP address, the page you are viewing, your device and browser, and coarse location inferred from your IP. What it cannot see: anything you type into a tool. Our tools have no server-side processing, so the contents of a text box, an uploaded file, or a pasted secret are never available to us, to Google, or to any ad partner — there is no request carrying them.

Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You may opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings, or opt out of third-party vendor cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info. Third-party vendors' use of cookies is governed by their own policies, not this site.

Analytics and cookies

We run no analytics of our own and this site sets no first-party cookies. Advertising cookies are set by Google under the policies linked above, which you can opt out of. Because we collect nothing about tool input, there is no consent required for the tools themselves — any data access that does occur is limited to what is described under Advertising.

Local storage

We store a single item in your browser's local storage: your light/dark theme preference. It stays on your device, is never transmitted to us, and can be cleared at any time from your browser settings. This falls under the "strictly necessary" exemption of ePrivacy Article 5(3), which is why no consent banner is shown for it.

Third-party requests

Loading an asset from a third-party CDN discloses your IP address to that provider. We keep the site's own assets self-hosted and limit third-party contact to the advertising described above:

• Fonts — Geist and Geist Mono are self-hosted from this domain. We do not use Google Fonts or any other font CDN.
• JavaScript libraries — bundled or self-hosted; none are fetched from a public CDN at runtime.
• Advertising — Google AdSense, which does contact third parties as described under Advertising. It never receives your tool input.
• Everything else — no social widgets, no embedded third-party media.

Where data is processed

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare is a US-headquartered provider, so serving a page involves processing connection metadata (including your IP address) on infrastructure that may be located outside your country. For transfers out of the EEA/UK we rely on Cloudflare's data processing addendum incorporating the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, together with the technical measures described above.

Our advertising partner processes data under its own legal bases and privacy notices, which govern that processing. Where we cannot make a tool-related assertion on their behalf, we do not make one.

Your rights

If you are in the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, you have the right to access, rectify or erase your personal data, to restrict or object to processing, and to data portability. If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information is collected and to opt out of its sale or sharing — we do not sell personal information. Google and its partners may process data under their own policies and offer their own opt-outs, as linked above. You may contact us at any time to exercise these rights, and you may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

Children

This site is a developer tool aimed at a professional audience and is not directed at children under 16.

If we change this policy we will update the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be noted on the homepage.
